Featured Installation: March 2015
This month’s Auralex® Dealer installation features a recent installation by Audio Contractors, one of the largest audio/video integrators in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Serving the audio and video integration needs of residential and commercial clients, Audio Contractors has been in business since 1998 and provides custom developed complete systems and solutions, from design to installation, for Home Theater, House of Worship and a multitude of venues and environments.
Audio Contractors recently completed an acoustical treatment installation for the First Presbyterian Church of Oregon, WI using custom Auralex ProPanels™. The building, built in 2011, has a shared worship/fellowship space, a large servery (kitchen), three classroom/meeting rooms, and a nursery, along with business and pastor’s offices. According to Greg Owen, Sales & Design lead on this project for Audio Contractors, “We spent a lot of time in the planning stages, working with various members of the church and the design help from Auralex.
Final product selection and placement as well as exacting fabric selection including matching fabric swatches from the helpful people at Guilford of Maine with existing paint samples was done with a great amount of help from church volunteers including a Interior Designer and Custom Drapery Expert who are also members of First Presbyterian. I have to extend my gratitude to everyone involved in the project including the Audio Contractors installation team of Rex Hopkins, Tim Schwartzlow and Brian Holland”.
Auralex ProPanels are high-quality, fabric-covered acoustic absorptive panels designed to reduce unwanted room reflections, slap and flutter echoes and provide a more pleasing and accurate listening environment.
